A magnitude-7.7 earthquake jolted central Türkiye on Monday, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
There have been 13 earthquakes of over magnitude 6.0 this year globally. The magnitude of Monday's earthquake in Türkiye was the highest.
