China to provide emergency assistance to Türkiye, Syria

China has activated its emergency humanitarian assistance mechanism to provide immediate aid to Türkiye and Syria, Deng Boqing, deputy head of the China International Development Cooperation Agency, told CMG on Tuesday.
Multiple earthquakes have jolted Türkiye since Monday, killing over 4,300 people in the country and the neighboring Syria.
