Over 7,000 dead in Türkiye, Syria after massive quakes

The death toll from powerful earthquakes that hit southern Türkiye on Monday has risen to 5,894, with 34,810 people injured, according to Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay.
In Syria, at least 1,250 were killed and 2,050 injured, said the Syrian Health Ministry.
