Death toll tops 11,200 in Türkiye, Syria quakes

The death toll from the massive earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria rose above 11,200 on Wednesday, official data showed, with rescue workers still searching for trapped survivors.
Officials and medics said 8,574 people have died in Türkiye and more than 2,662 in Syria, bringing the total to more than 11,236.
