The death toll from the massive earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria rose above 9,600 on Wednesday, official data showed, with rescue workers still searching for trapped survivors.
Officials and medics said 7,108 people have died in Türkiye and more than 2,542 in Syria, bringing the total to more than 9,650.
