Port in central China expects higher freight traffic volumes in 2023

Chenglingji Port, one of the country's busiest inland ports on the Yangtze River, is located north of central China's Hunan Province. It processed more than one million containers in 2022, making it the third port along the middle and upper sections of China's longest river to reach that mark. The port manager sees more opportunities in shipping container traffic in 2023 as volumes are expected to continue growing.
