Death toll from earthquakes rises to 14,351 in Türkiye

The death toll from powerful earthquakes that hit southern Türkiye on Monday has risen to 14,351, Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay said on Thursday.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said a three-month state of emergency to speed up rescue and aid efforts in the quake-hit provinces will enter into force later on Thursday after a vote in the parliament, the Anadolu Agency reported.
