Rare flamingos have arrived at Yanhu salt lake in the city of Yuncheng in northern China's Shanxi Province. The elegant birds add a touch of color and vibrancy to the serene environment. Flamingos are an endangered species afforded the top level of protection in China. Efforts by the local government to conserve the environment have made the lake an ideal habitat for migratory birds.
