Syrian Minister of Health Hasan Al-Ghabash has called on the international community to step up aid to Syria as the country is in a dire situation after the earthquakes. Al-Ghabash expressed gratitude to the countries that have provided assistance and support. But he also blamed the sanctions imposed by the U.S. and the West on Syria for creating and exacerbating its humanitarian crisis.
