China has sent its first batch of aid to support quake-stricken Türkiye. The cargo plane carrying roughly 84 tonnes of supplies, including 40,000 blankets, took off from Shanghai in the early hours of February 11. Additional aid packages of tents, portable ECG machines, ultrasound diagnostic machines and other medical supplies will be sent in the coming days.
