Exclusive Stringer Dispatch: Drone footage shows Aleppo in rubble after Türkiye-Syria quake

On February 6, 2023, an earthquake measuring 7.8 on the Richter scale struck southern Türkiye in the early morning hours, and a second major quake measuring 7.8 struck the same area at 1:24 p.m. Cities in southern Türkiye and northern Syria were hit hard.
On February 9, CGTN stringer went to the city of Aleppo, among the worst-hit areas in northwest Syria, and captured drone footage of collapsed buildings and the difficult search and rescue operations.
