Chongqing police recently trained six Eurasian red squirrels to detect narcotics. According to the police, squirrels have a rather sharp sense of smell. They are smaller and more agile than drug-sniffing dogs, making them more suitable for searching complex environments such as logistics warehouses, courier stations and high places.
