Camellia oleifera is a typical southern Chinese oil plant that traveled north to Xinyang City, Henan Province 15 years ago.
Chen Haixia's father, fascinated by the plant's tremendous economic potential, has transformed a wide area of barren hills into a camellia oleifera garden in the intention of unifying villagers and boosting the local economy.
