UN aid chief Martin Griffiths visited Kahramanmaras in Türkiye on Saturday and said that the Türkiye-Syria earthquake was the region's "worst event" in a century. While meeting families left homeless by the disaster, he said the UN will launch appeals for Türkiye and Syria to get more support in the aftermath of the quake.
