More humanitarian aid from the Red Cross Society of China has been sent to quake-hit Syria. Beijing says the latest supplies can meet the needs of more than 10,000 people in the affected areas. The items include cotton tents, relief kits for families, clothes, daily necessities as well as urgently needed medical supplies. The first batch of medical supplies provided to Syria by China's Red Cross Society was sent last Thursday to the Syrian Red Crescent Society for use in the disaster-hit areas.
