Two strong earthquakes struck southern Türkiye and northern Syria on February 6, inflicting heavy casualties and property losses.
On February 11, CGTN Stringer Neyran Elden is still in Türkiye's Kahramanmaras province, the epicenter of the first major earthquake. She visited some villages in Pazarcik. Büyüknacar, which is "the coldest, hardest part of Pazarcik. It has 1,800 meters of altitude." Most of the houses in the village have been damaged. In another village, many people there can still not get tents, and they have to shelter in green houses.
