The world has been quick in lending a helping hand to pull Türkiye and Syria out of the ruins. China gives emergency humanitarian aid of 30 million yuan ($4.4 million) to hard-hit Syria. Imad Moustapha, the dean of the Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in Syria, tells CGTN host Tian Wei that a friend in need is a friend indeed. He added that China has always stood with struggling friendly nations in their moment of difficulty.
