The piano is a very popular instrument in China, with many children learning it at a young age. However, the fortepiano is not a widely known instrument. Wang Yuehan, who was awarded a performer's certificate from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, has devoted her time to promoting the historical instrument in China for years. By performing on a replica of an 1805 Walter piano, Wang aims to make Mozart's favorite sound gain a much wider appreciation.
