Cyclone Gabrielle is lashing the coast of New Zealand. Residents of the country's largest city, Auckland, and the surrounding areas have been told to prepare for more heavy rain, flooding and gale-force winds. Prime Minister Chris Hipkins has announced a $7.3 million dollar package to support community groups such as food banks and those impacted by the floods.
