A freight train derailed in Ohio on the evening of February 3, resulting in a fire and the release of the deadly chemical vinyl chloride. A broadcast reporter who attempted to cover the story was arrested, and after being advised to return home and being noted that real-time air and water monitoring did not find any contaminant levels above screening limits, local residents are still concerned about the local environment.
