On February 13, Martin Griffiths, UN under-secretary-general for humanitarian affairs and emergency relief coordinator, arrived in Aleppo, Syria. Regarding assisting Türkiye and Syria, Griffiths said, "We're going to issue appeals for all these places for mobilizing funds," adding it appears that the rescue phase is coming to a close and now is the time to provide humanitarian aid.
