Ambassadors from several countries neighboring China have praised Beijing's efforts to provide disaster management assistance. They were speaking during the first coordinators' meeting of the Belt and Road international framework for disaster risk reduction and emergency management in Beijing. The second BRI Ministerial Forum on disaster cooperation is scheduled for November. This year marks the 10th anniversary of China's Belt and Road Initiative. The ambassadors called for more regional cooperation and communication in response to natural disasters.
