The recent U.S. House of Representatives resolution on the entry of a Chinese civilian unmanned airship into U.S. airspace ignores basic facts and is nothing but political manipulation and malicious hype, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said on Thursday.
China strongly urges the U.S. Congress to respect the facts, the spirit of international law and the basic norms governing international relations and immediately stop slandering China and taking actions that escalate the situation, Wang said.
