South Africa's new minister of electricity will assume full responsibility for overseeing all aspects of the country's response to crippling power cuts, President Cyril Ramaphosa said on Thursday in a meeting.
Ramaphosa declared a state of disaster days ago to fight a paralyzing power crisis in the country.
