The Dutch Foreign Ministry announced on Saturday the consulate general in the Russian city of St. Petersburg will close temporarily due to a lack of staff and that it had ordered the closure of the Russian trade office in Amsterdam.
The ministry said the Dutch government had also decided to reduce the number of Russian diplomats in the country.
The Russian foreign ministry told TASS later that Moscow would respond to the Dutch decision to cut diplomatic staff numbers.
