Senior Chinese diplomat Wang Yi said China and Europe have never been rivals, adding that their common interests far outweigh their differences. He made the remarks while meeting with Hungarian Foreign and Trade Minister Peter Szijjarto in Budapest. Wang said China will promote cooperation in infrastructure, investment, trade and tourism, and the Belt and Road Initiative. Szijjarto said Hungary will speed up the construction of the Hungary-Serbia railway under the BRI and strengthen cooperation in areas like investment and agriculture.
