Seven people, including two children, were killed and 11 others injured in a fire that broke out at a hotel in central Moscow on Tuesday, TASS news agency reported, citing the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Russia's Investigative Committee said on Telegram they had begun an investigation into the cause of the fire.
