Tibetan people across China celebrated the Tibetan New Year, or Losar, on Tuesday with singing, dancing and traditional food.
The Tibetan New Year fell on February 21 this year, almost a month after the Spring Festival.
The celebrations for the Tibetan New Year usually start on the first day of the first month on the Tibetan calendar and end after 15 days. Just like the Spring Festival, the Tibetan New Year marks the perfect opportunity for Tibetans to reunite with their relatives and friends.
