A journalist and a nine-year-old were killed and two others injured in a shooting in the Pine Hills neighborhood in the U.S. state of Florida, Orange County Sheriff John Mina told reporters during a Wednesday afternoon press conference.
According to Mina, the mother of the nine-year-old and another member of the Spectrum News 13 crew were also shot in the same area and are in critical condition.
The 19-year-old suspect, who was also suspected of shooting and killing a woman early Wednesday in the same community, has already been detained.
The motive of the shootings is not known.
