The UN General Assembly met on Thursday for an emergency special session to mark the first anniversary of the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict. A resolution put forth will be voted later this week. Speaking before the vote, China said that sending weapons to Ukraine won't end the conflict. "Adding fuel to the fire will only exacerbate tensions, China's Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN Dai Bing said. "Prolonging and expanding the conflict will only make ordinary people pay an even heftier price."
