Relations between Russia and the European Union continue their fall into an abyss and are basically gone, Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya said on Thursday.
"Last time, when in June 2022 the Security Council touched upon the interaction between the UN and the European Union, we stated that due to Brussels’ efforts, EU-Russia relations had hit rock bottom," Nebenzya told a meeting of the UN Security Council on cooperation with the European Union.
"As it turned out, there is an abyss below this bottom, where not only our relations, which, in fact, no longer exist but also the united Europe itself keep plummeting."
