The United States will impose a 200 percent tariff on aluminum and derivatives produced in Russia effective March 10, the White House said on Friday.
The U.S. will also apply 200 percent tariff on aluminum imports with any amount of primary aluminum smelted or cast in Russia, starting on April 10, it said.
Earlier the White House said the U.S. would raise tariffs on certain Russian imported products, targeting more than 100 metals, minerals, and chemical products worth approximately $2.8 billion to Russia.
