The UN Security Council held a high-level meeting on Ukraine on Friday to mark the first anniversary of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Dai Bing, China's Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, stressed that the security of one country should not be pursued at the expense of others. China stands ready to work with all parties to promote a political solution to the Ukraine crisis and strive for the early arrival of peace, he added.
