Port shipments are known as a barometer of an economy. In east China's Shandong Province, this analogy is especially true. Last year, the throughput of Shandong's coastal ports reached 1.75 billion tonnes, ranking the first in the country.
According to a provincial government work report, Shandong is set to build a world-class port cluster in 2023. CGTN reporter Wang Tianyu visited one of its major ports, the Yantai Port, to see how the marine economy works.
