Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone talk with Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to the statement published on Friday from Türkiye's Presidency's Directorate of Communications.

In the phone conversation, Erdogan thanked Putin for displaying solidarity with Türkiye after the earthquakes and stressed the need for achieving a just peace in Ukraine to prevent further loss of life and destruction.
