19 athletes wounded after blasts at race in Cameroon: doctor

Nineteen athletes are being treated for blast-related injuries after multiple small explosions occurred during a running race on Saturday in part of western Cameroon, a local doctor said.
There was no immediate comment from authorities in the town of Buea in the Southwest Region, where a total of 529 athletes were running up the highest mountain in West and Central Africa, competing in the Mount Cameroon Race of Hope.
