Horgos port, a border port in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, has handled over 1,000 China-Europe freight trains so far this year. Friday saw the 1,000th China-Europe train passing the port, hitting a record high as it just took 52 days to do so. Horgos is an important port of the western passage of China-Europe freight trains. The goods imported and exported through the port include daily necessities, electrical products, industrial machinery and other products. Currently, 76 routes pass through Horgos to 45 cities and regions in 18 foreign countries, with a total of over 26,000 China-Europe freight trains handled by the port.
