Blooming flowers create enchanting spring scenery in parts of China

Flowers bloom in parts of China, particularly in the warmer south, painting the country in dazzling colors.

Waves of plum blossoms herald in the new season in Gutian County of southeast China's Fujian Province, covering over 330 hectares in Fuda Village.

"Walking in the sea of flowers, I'm quite relaxed. It's so delightful to stay here with my friends, chatting and taking pictures," said Ruan Jinbin, a tourist.

In Guangzhou City of south China's Guangdong Province, an expanse of cercis chinensis, or the Chinese redbud, has decorated Haizhu National Wetland Park with pink blossoms.

Early-spring rapeseed flowers have blossomed in Jiang'an County of southwest China's Sichuan Province.

Vast areas of blooming rapeseed flowers are weaving magnificent bright-yellow blankets, attracting tourists near and far.

On an island in the Thousand-Islands Lake, or Qiandaohu in Chinese, in east China's Zhejiang Province, cherry blossoms have burst into bloom, painting an intoxicating picture in nature.
