Traditional Chinese stone carving originated in Quyang County, north China's Hebei Province, which is also known for sculpting. Gao Yingpo, a representative of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) there, has asked for more policy support for the education sector to continue the tradition.
