China's tech giants Huawei, ZTE, OPPO, and Xiaomi are showing off their latest innovations at the 2023 edition of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain. The event will last until March 2.
Responding to the growing demand for the fast-developing 5G technology used in China's smart ports, coal mines and other industries to achieve efficient and unmanned operations, Huawei put forward its concept of 5.5G at the MWC.
ZTE also astonished industry peers with its 5G application in Guangzhou City's smart transportation and mines and other innovative products, including the industry's first AI naked eye 3D tablet PC.
Many exhibitors and participants said they are impressed by Chinese tech enterprises' continuous innovative progress. China showed a strong return to the MWC this year, with about 5,000 out of the 80,000 participants registered from China after the country lifted travel restrictions earlier this year.
