Ensuring a stable food supply while modernizing the agriculture sector has been a key part of ensuring Chinese livelihoods. In recent years, this pursuit has introduced advanced farming practices and cutting-edge technology. In Changsha County of Hunan Province, yields saw a 39 percent year on year increase last year. Much of that can be attributed to the usage of integrated technologies, new fertilizers and pesticides. In 2022, China's grain output also reached a new high, topping 600 million tonnes.
