At least 32 people were killed and dozens more injured after a passenger train collided with a freight train in northern Greece, Reuters reported on Wednesday, citing the fire brigade.
The accident happened on late Tuesday night in Tempi, a town some 380 kilometers north of Athens, and resulted in the derailment of several train cars, police said.
Greek authorities said evacuations are underway and the circumstances of the crash remain unclear.
