After the journalist Seymour Hersh claimed that U.S. President Joe Biden ordered the destruction of the Nord Stream pipelines, his article received global attention. Jean-Noël Beka Be Nguema, a professor at International University of Rabat said in an interview that the U.S. sabotaged the Nord Stream pipelines for political purposes and aim to bring Europe, more firmly, under U.S. control.
