China, Cote d'Ivoire vow to deepen friendly cooperative relations

Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang on Thursday exchanged congratulations with Cote d'Ivoire's Foreign Minister Kandia Camara on the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Qin said in recent years, the two sides have deepened political mutual trust and achieved fruitful cooperation results that benefit the peoples of both countries, adding that he is ready to work with Camara to implement the consensus between two heads of state and the results of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation and promote new progress in the bilateral friendly cooperative relations.

Camara said the two sides had close communication in economy, trade, and people-to-people exchanges. Both sides uphold multilateralism in international affairs and promote the ideas of peace, justice and solidarity. 

She added that she is ready to work with Qin to deepen the bilateral friendly cooperative relations.
