Russian Leading Specialist of the Phobos Weather Center, Evgeny Tishkovets was interviewed by CGTN about the U.S. shooting down of a Chinese weather balloon. The Russian expert said that the balloon incident is hype by the U.S. It is not surprising that about 1,000 weather balloons are released into the atmosphere every day around the world. However, the U.S. spends hundreds of millions of dollars to shoot it down.
