The 2023 Two Sessions will kick off this weekend. So to start the ball rolling, CGTN's Tian Wei has spoken to Zhang Yichen, a CPPCC member, who's also the CEO of CITIC Capital. Zhang believes China's economy, given time, should bounce back. He has proposed including commercial real estate among publicly traded shares in China this year. That way, many property developers in China can tap into the liquidity of these assets, which could be used to fund the completion of residential properties.
