Gu Xueming, a member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and the director of the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation, spoke about the achievements of the Belt and Road Initiative over the past 10 years when he met the press during the "Members' Corridor" on the sidelines of the Two Sessions at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Saturday.
"The Belt and Road Initiative has provided new opportunities for global cooperation and opening up," Gu said.
