The National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature, held a press conference on Saturday, ahead of the opening of its annual session. The first session of the 14th NPC will open at 9 a.m. on Sunday and conclude on March 13, Wang Chao, spokesperson for the session, said at a press conference in Beijing.
On achievements made in legal system construction, Wang said the Constitution has been enhanced to allow greater participation in the creation of legislation.
