Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi said on Saturday that talks were ongoing with Iran on two sets of important matters, including the science sector, and there were "great expectations" about the process.

Grossi, who spoke during a joint news conference with Mohammad Eslami, the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, said the talks took place in an "atmosphere of work, honesty and cooperation."

Grossi added that the discussions could pave the way for the revival of the landmark 2015 agreement.

"By constructive discussions that we are having now, and by good agreements, I'm sure we are going to be paving the way for important agreements," Grossi said.
