China's national legislature has selected members of the presidium for the upcoming first session of the 14th NPC and finalized the agenda for the session. The Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) convened on Saturday to prepare for the session, which will open on Sunday. Zhao Leji, member of the Standing Committee of the 20th CPC Central Committee Politburo, has been selected as the executive chairperson of the presidium. The newly selected presidium then finalized the schedule for the first session of the 14th NPC.
